Fact 1: The Eiffel Tower Grows in Height

The Eiffel Tower, one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, is not completely static. Due to the high temperatures the iron structure is exposed to, it expands and can grow up to six inches in height during summer.

Fact 2: Cashews Are Not Nuts

Despite being widely known as nuts, cashews are actually not true nuts. They are seeds that grow outside the flesh of a cashew apple, which is a fruit. This makes cashews botanically classified as seeds, similar to sunflower seeds and almonds.

Fact 3: Your Fingers Have Their Own Unique Print

Just like each person has a unique set of fingerprints, our fingers also have their own distinct pattern of ridges and grooves. This pattern is so unique that it can be used for identification purposes, just like fingerprints.

Fact 4: Earth Is Not Perfectly Round

Contrary to popular belief, our planet is not a perfectly round sphere. The Earth is slightly flattened at the poles and bulges at the equator due to its rotation. This shape is called an oblate spheroid.

Fact 5: Honey Never Spoils

Did you know that honey has an eternal shelf life? Archaeologists have discovered pots of honey in ancient Egyptian tombs that are over 3,000 years old and still perfectly edible. Honey’s long shelf life is due to its low water content and acidic properties, which create an inhospitable environment for bacteria and other microorganisms.
